We are excited to announce the launch of a brand-new program at Finsher Lab — “Website Creation for Kids.” Alongside science workshops and experiments, our young learners will now have the chance to explore the digital world by building their very first websites!
This course is specially designed for children and teens, with simple explanations, fun hands-on tasks and a safe learning environment. The program includes 5–7 sessions, each dedicated to a different theme:

Session 1: What is the Internet and a Website?
- Introductory theory
- How the internet works (kid-friendly basics)
- What a website is and why people create them
- Examples of websites kids already know (games, schools, hobbies)
Session 2: Building Blocks of a Website
- Pages, text, images, links – explained with games and visuals
- Understanding homepages and menus
- Activity: draw your own “website map” on paper
Session 3: Colors, Design and Creativity
- Basics of web design: colors, fonts, pictures
- What makes a site look fun and easy to use
- Activity: create a simple page design with markers or digital tools
Session 4: Making It Interactive
- Adding buttons, simple forms or links
- How clicking works and why it matters
- Activity: kids plan their first interactive element
Session 5: Creating a Personal Mini-Website
- Using simple, safe website builders made for kids
- Adding content: “About Me,” “My Hobbies,” or “My Science Project”
- Activity: publish a private website project (visible only to family/class)
Optional Sessions:
- Session 6: Team Project – kids create a group website together (e.g., “Our Dream Lab”).
- Session 7: Showcase Day – final presentation of websites to parents and peers.
